Havruta: Learning in Pairs (Via ZOOM)

Service Description

This version will be taught evenings over Zoom, to accommodate people in different time zones, those who cannot make daytime classes, and those who do not like to drive on winter-evenings. This course will include 5 sessions, learning about the powerful practice of Havruta, Aramaic word for "companionship" or "friendship." We will share in a variety of modalities as we explore the value of learning in a paired community, where two individuals will be partnered to discuss and delve into texts, poetry, and themes. We will meet via ZOOM, using breakout rooms for 1:1 paired conversations and relationship-building across time zones.
